🧶 Today I am crocheting a cover for my planner and I wanted to bring you along. I’ll show you how to make one for any size planner and share how I fixed a mistake I made along the way.
‼️ This is a very easy pattern, but in the video I am not showing a full tutorial of the stitches for beginners. You must already know how to make the basic stitches and techniques. However, if any of you are interested in a more basic tutorial, I might consider making some more videos. Let me know!

Crochet pattern
Here is the written pattern. Keep in mind that this pattern worked for the size of my Mini Happy Planner, so if you're making this for a different one, then follow the instructions in the video to adjust it accordingly. 😊 Even if you use the same hook and yarn as me, your tension might make your piece a different size, so remember to measure!
(sc = single crochet)
Row 1: Chain 41. = 41 stitches total
Row 2: Starting from the second chain from the hook, sc in each stitch until the end of the row. Chain 1, and turn to work on the other side. = 40 stitches total
Rows 3-12: Skip the chain, and then sc in each stitch until the end of the row. Chain 1, and turn to work on the other side. = 40 stitches total
Row 13: Skip the chain, and then sc in each stitch until the end of the row. Chain 10, and turn to work on the other side. = 50 stitches total
Row 14: Skip only the first chain from the hook, and then sc in each stitch until the end of the row. Chain 1, and turn to work on the other side. = 49 stitches total
Rows 15-18: Skip the chain, and then sc in each stitch until the end of the row. Chain 1, and turn to work on the other side. = 49 stitches total
Row 19: Skip the chain, and then sc 40. Chain 1, and turn to work on the other side. = 40 stitches total
Rows 20-29: Skip the chain, and then sc in each stitch until the end of the row. Chain 1, and turn to work on the other side. = 40 stitches total
Row 30: Skip the chain, and then sc in each stitch until the end of the row. = 40 stitches total
Sc all around the cover: On the outer corners: sc 1, chain 1, sc 1 in the same spot. On the inner corners: Pull the yarn from the last spot of the line, then from the corner one, and then from the next one. You will have 4 loops on your hook. Close them all together.
✏️ Summary:
Chain 41
Sc 40 (12 lines)
Chain 10
Sc 49 (5 lines)
Sc 40 (12 lines)
Sc all around
