💡 As I was decluttering my desk area I realized that I have quite a few notebooks that are empty, and others that I’ve started using but then quickly abandoned. 😅 So I started thinking of some ideas to use these notebooks, and I want to share them with you in case you are in a similar situation.
Poems, quotes, or lyrics
If you write them yourself, that’s awesome! But you can also find your favorites and write them in your notebook for inspiration.
Notes from books, blog posts, or videos
If I don’t write the important points of what I read then they just leave my mind forever. 😅
Media journal
I started a media journal this year, and I’ve been loving it. I add tiny pictures of the movies, shows, games, or books that I have liked every week, and write a bit of what I thought of it.
Daily or weekly diary
Sometimes we just need to write about what we did or how we felt on specific days to get it all out of our minds!
Scrapbook
If you like printing photos, you can use your notebook as a scrapbook and add pieces of paper, movie tickets, stickers, and anything that creates a nice memory spread for you.
Tasks planner
You don’t need a special dot-grid notebook to have a bullet journal. Any notebook can be useful to write about your tasks, special dates and appointments.
Project planner
If you like creative works or have house projects that you want to do, you can use a notebook to plan them, make drawings of what it will look like, write down a shopping list of materials, etc.
Random thoughts and feelings
It’s good to have a place where you can just write down any silly thing that comes to your mind. It can be fun to read it months or years later!
Learning / Study notes
This is a must when you’re learning a new language or a new skill!
Health, food, and workout tracking
If you want to focus on your health (physical or mental), you can use one of your empty notebooks to track your progress and ideas on how to improve it.
Travel / Adventure journal
Writing down the places that you visited and your favorite experiences makes you enjoy your adventures for even longer.
Recipes and reviews
You can use a notebook for writing down recipes that you find on Pinterest, Instagram, etc, and then write what you thought of them, if you liked them, or how you would make them better next time.
Finances
Keeping a log of your big purchases, the dates when you need to replace things, and your weekly or monthly budget, is so helpful!
Gratitude / Happiness journal
You can make it a habit to write down one thing that made you happy each day, or something special that you’re grateful for.
